From scholarship to sustainability, Kozlowski oversees a CFDA program portfolio designed to provide impactful mentorship, education, sustainable business, development & awards for creatively diverse talent- ranging from student - early emerging, to professional. Initiatives include the Elaine Gold Launch Pad, CFDA Sustainability Resource Hub, CFDA + Lexus Fashion* Initiative, Fashion Future Graduate Showcase, and legacy CFDA Scholarship awards.

Kozlowski holds an MBA in Design Strategy, California College of the Arts & BFA, Fashion Design, Parsons School of Design with Anna Sui & Byron Lars Golden Thimble awards of distinction.

Her 27 years of experience in fashion as designer turned educator and sustainability strategist- are applied to CFDA program architectures developing bespoke content centered on creativity and sustainable innovation.

Prior to joining the CFDA team in 2014, Kozlowski served in academic leadership roles for more than a decade. At Parsons, her BFA alma mater, Kozlowski was Director of External Projects/ Professor, School of Fashion fostering collaborations for students with partners that included Kering, Coach, and LVMH. Her teaching included BFA thesis collection and Design in Fashion Systems within the MFA Fashion Design + Society program. She additionally was Associate Director of Fashion, Academy of Art University, San Francisco, responsible for womens thesis collection, and the design and sustainable fashion curriculum.

Kozlowski’s professional journey began by working for Anna Sui, who recruited her as an Assistant Designer following graduation from Parsons. She later launched the brand CAKE., which during its 6 years, presented during NYFW with representation from Steven Alan – & sold globally at over 40 stores including Barneys New York, Intermix, Browns, and United Arrows before closing in 2001.

Within sustainability, her voice has been invited as a speaker & panelist within education and industry including UN SDG Media Zone, Berlin + Helsinki Fashion Weeks, CBS News, Business Insider, and NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business.

Kozlowski currently volunteers within the Gucci Changemakers Council, Business of Fashion Education Council, and was Mentor of Final Year Collections at Polimoda, Florence from 2017- 2019. She also serves as Advisory Board member of Detroit’s CSS Fashion Accessories Design Program, and has been an invited critic, mentor and juror to many of the CFDA’s 23 participating Educational Initiatives schools including Parsons, F.I.T, SCAD, Academy of Art University, RISD, and CCA.
