Nancy Miller is the Chair of the undergraduate Fashion Merchandising Department. She teaches a variety of courses, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels which include; Introduction to the Fashion Business, Textiles, Product Development and Merchandising, Product Lifecycle Management, Advanced Fashion Merchandising as well as the Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management capstone course. She also teaches in LIM College’s summer fashion lab program for high school students.
Prior to joining LIM College in 2005, Nancy Miller enjoyed a fashion industry career that spanned more than 25 years and included work in textile sales management, apparel merchandising, and product development.
Miller was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society in 2012 and was the recipient of LIM College’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2009.
Miller holds a Master of Education Degree from Northcentral University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Syracuse University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
