INTERNATIONAL PAVILIONS

We Americans are casual. Many factory representatives from overseas are not. Many are very formal people. We Americans hurry into a booth and rush, speak quickly, state what we need, and ask if they can make it. Remember to be polite and respectful, as generally with overseas factories we should approach and speak just a tad slower so they fully understand what we want to source. We need to step back and explain our sourcing needs clearly. Our fast-talking, casual mannerisms are another reason why visuals, such as samples and sketches, are so beneficial during trade-show sourcing.
