Dr. Susan Baxter was named as LIM College’s Dean of Graduate Studies in 2017. Previously, she served as Chair of the College’s Marketing, Management & Finance department.
Dr. Baxter’s areas of research and scholarship include globalizing business education, diversity in advertising, consumer-brand relationships, distance learning, student learning styles and the effect on performance in distance learning, and the impact of HIV on the global workforce.
She has authored several works dealing with communication and marketing for special populations, including LGBT consumers. She has been quoted by the Associated Press, written for Echelon magazine, and is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Society for Marketing Advances, the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Marketing Educators Association.
Dr. Baxter has a Doctorate of Business Administration in Marketing, a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management, a Master of Science degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
