• Manage and oversee Loomstate’s Sustainability, Communications (internal and external), Marketing & E-commerce Departments

• Represent brand as main external spokesperson in all sustainability related events, conferences, and industry organizations, including: the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), UN Global Compact, Textile Exchange (TE), GCU Fair Fashion Institute, Cradle2Cradle Fashion Positive, Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Global Fashion Agenda, Canopy Style, and Chetna Organic Farming Coalition

• Develop and execute long-term sustainability strategy, sourcing methods, operational practices, and overall mission; and create related content for company websites (B2B & B2C), internal and external reporting, marketing and social media

• Implemented the use of measurable KPI’s (e.g. water use/savings, reduction of pesticides and restricted substances, shipping vessel consolidation) and benchmarks for all related internal and external reporting; Align company targets with UN Sustainable Development Goals

• Curate sustainability reports and marketing collateral for stakeholders and clients based on units purchased, materials used, transport of goods, supply chain transparency and mapping, and sustainability metrics at the farm, factory, and brand levels

• Manage all existing and prospective vendor compliance for environmental/social criteria, audit history, compliance with government regulations, and adherence to industry standards and certifications (SAC Higg FEM/FSLM, GOTS, Fair Trade, etc.)

• Maintain Loomstate’s own brand compliance, certifications, and oversee all 3rd party audits (e.g. Higg BEM/BSLM, GOTS, OCS, GRS, Fair Trade)

• Implemented cross functional use of the Higg MSI & DDM across all product categories and facilitated Higg FEM/FSLM adoption across all Tier 1 and some Tier 2 suppliers

• Working Experience with CDP, SASB, GRI, & the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s Higg Index Suite
